Samba, ruins, friends and bumpy roads

We started today's ride on Chepstow's one way system taking in a Samba drumming band and the castle. After passing through Chepstow Town Gate, we cycled along the beautiful Wye valley, passing Tintern Abbey. After crossing the Wye, we climbed up into the Forest of Dean and then dropped down to the Wye at Ross. We spent time here and we're grateful to Rob at Revolutions for helping to fix Lee's bike.

As we prepared to leave Ross, we met Wanda and Alan, shared about the ride and took photos.

From Ross we rode north cross country to Hereford where we popped into the cathedral before evensong to inform them of our fundraising ride.

The final stretch took us to Presteigne on some bumpy roads, arriving just in time to eat.

The cycling is tough in this heat, but for many people life is tough for them, so please sponsor us to help these people in Swindon.
