Chris Stanley is going to be riding alongside me every pedal turn of the way. He is a fellow member of Swindon Road Club (swindon-rc.co.uk) and is pictured here in his club kit. Chris writes:
"I'm a father of two and this year became a grandfather for the first time. As a Christian I'm always looking to help people when I can and as a cyclist I enjoy new challenges. The Land's End to John O'Groats ride is one that I have wanted to participate in for many years.
Workwise I'm a consultant for Capita implementing social housing software with local authorities and housing associations. I've done this for 27 years and find it very rewarding."
